  you have to be DAMN careful about what you feed a horse. When I was 11 I helped my neighbors help deliver a horse, and the mother ate the placenta. Well the vet came by later to do some checkups and asked “did the mare eat the placenta, blah-blah, it cold give her gas”

  Well apparently horses can’t handle gas all that well and basically couldn’t fart so her colon prolapsed (butt tulip), got infected, and died.
