It’s all about the grind. I have a friend that quit her teaching job last year and has spent the last 3 months complaining about money… I’m saying to myself (and to her) there are folks out there with no skills on their grind and you’re complaining about not having a job. Hell, I finally got it through to her that she could sub and make money and turn down any job when she didn’t feel like it.

Man, I was a trainer for Siemens and they downsized (i.e. shipped my job to Mexico) I got my loot, bought a pickup truck and installed mailboxes in new home developments for a year. I made a decent buck - but winter in Chicago is not place to be outside digging holes so I’m back to the cubicle.
